Rosehip is a perennial deciduous shrub that can grow between 1 and 5 meters. Young branches are covered in thorns, similar to other roses. The flowers are white or pink, which bear small oval fruit, for which this plant is best known.

Rosehip fruit is used to make tea, jam and marmalade. It is widely used in traditional medicine as a universal treatment for colds and viruses. It is exceptionally rich in Vitamin C and all rosehip products are some of the best sources of this vitamin.
